That thing the gurus don’t tell you about having a “signature course”

There’s a lot of advice about charging more so that you make more with less work. 

This sounds great but glosses over a REALLY BIG DEAL.

Unless you are really well known with a sizable list, convincing people who have just met you to invest in a high-ticket course with you often takes a lot of effort in the form of a complicated launch. I’m not saying this doesn’t work, but I am saying it has significant drawbacks that aren’t for everyone.

I suggest an “Onramp Course”

It’s a short (or short-ish) course that teaches the fundamentals of your unique process. It has a specific outcome that can be achieved quickly and is helpful for everyone (or at least 80% of everyone). Its function is to have an easy way for a new prospect to become a buyer, get to know you, and be primed for other things in your business.

There’s actually a story behind the Onramp Course. One of my clients was told by really expensive coaches to forget low ticket, so she launched a big course a couple of times a year. Those launches were exhausting as she gave out a lot of free content to people who liked her work, but were never going to buy a high-ticket program. Tech nightmares, customer service emails, massive stress… all for low conversion rates and no predictable income. Thousands of people on her list got the choice of high ticket or nothing, and they chose… well, you guessed it.

When does the program start? Are all lessons available immediately?
The next Live round starts on October 2nd. The course is spaced out with weekly tasks that allow for time to build your course content. You are free, however, to “binge” the lessons and have access to new lessons as soon as you finish the previous one. Use it in whatever way makes sense to you!
Is the course pre-recorded?
Yes! The trainings are pre-recorded and one entire module will be available each week.
What tech stuff do I need to have for this course?
I suggest that you have Google docs, an email service provider, and Canva at a minimum. There are free options for all of these.
Do I need to have a specific course platform?
This will work with whatever course platform you choose. If you don’t have one, Xperiencfy has a “free until you launch” plan and I highly recommend it.
When will the Office Hours be?
Tuesdays at noon Pacific for live calls because it works for the greatest amount of time zones.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are available through August 5th, 2023 if, after the content is available, you feel like you will not benefit from the course. Should you choose to take the course at a later date, however, the pre-sale price will no longer be available.
